To Hawthorne Country Club Management and staff:
On behalf of the Greater New Bedford Workforce Investment Board and guests I would like to thank you for the great service and accommodations we received during our Quarterly Board Meeting and Strategy Session held on September 25th. Your staff allowed such a successful meeting by ensuring that our needs were met thus allowing us to focus on the content and activities relevant to our retreat. Our room was set up in a way that maximized the use of our audio/visual equipment while allowing our members and guests to access food, drink and restrooms in a way that did not disturb the rest of the group.
The food was well received and available throughout our session. Drinks, especially coffee, were readily available and refreshed in a timely manner. Numerous attendees commented on the high level of service and your staff’s ability to continuously replenish food and drink without disturbing the ongoing session. Having participated in numerous sessions and events similar to this occurrence, I can say that it is always a welcome addition when a host site staff can carry out their responsibilities without ongoing instruction and numerous requests for specific needs.
